Edie lived a very happy life. Her disability was never a hindrance, never a problem and it didn't stop her from doing anything in life. Edie loved and still loves her family, they are very important to her, as she is to them. After this Christmas just gone (2014) Edie unfortunately fell ill and on the January 30th 2015, Edie passed away peacefully at Peterborough Hospital with her family by her side, at the grand age of 81. Edie was a courageous woman who will be sadly missed by all those who loved her.
